A new benefit available to Earthmover members offers you protection from identity theft. SAFE Members provides five products to help prevent and/or recover from someone posing as you to obtain credit, cash checks, make purchases, and more.

Identity Theft Insurance with Fraud Assistance provides you up to $10,000 in financial compensation for qualified expenses incurred in the recovery of your stolen identity. Included in this benefit is Fraud Assistance, a comprehensive service designed to help with the hassle of clearing your good name. You'll receive expert help to assist you in organizing paperwork, advising you about notifying creditors and more.

Card Patrol focuses on the one thing identity thieves care about -- stealing your personal information and selling it to make money. Card Patrol's sophisticated, real-time, early warning technology monitors various chat rooms across cyberspace for your personal information. In the event that identity theft occurs, you will be assigned a personal caseworker to take you through the resolution process.

Payment Card Protection lets you register all of your ATM, debit, and credit cards at one time and in one place. You'll feel secure knowing that you are protected. If your cards are lost or stolen, simply call one convenient toll-free number 24 hours a day to cancel cards, stop unauthorized purchases and request new cards. You'll have the security of knowing that if you are more than 50 miles from home and have reported the cards lost or stolen you have access to emergency cash and emergency airline tickets. Some restrictions apply.

Credit Alert provides 24-hour daily credit monitoring so you'll be alerted automatically of certain negative changes to your credit.  While it can't prevent identity theft, Credit Alert can greatly reduce its impact by allowing you to minimize the damage.  If there are no changes to your credit, you'll even receive a quarterly identification letting you know that nothing has changed.  Your initial enrollment in Credit Alert will be valid for one year with an option to re-enroll at no additional cost. 

Debix Fraud Defense can help stop identity theft before it happens.  The Debix Identity Protection Network goes to work at the moment that matters most:  when a thief could be attempting to get credit in your name.  A credit issuer can choose to trigger a Debix Fraud Alert warning to call you.  You use your personal security code to approve the credit - or block it.  Without your code, the credit will not be issued.
