Benefits of Membership

As credit union members we sometimes take for granted the many benefits of membership. Take free checking, for instance. It’s not a new product, we’ve always had it. That’s free checking with no minimum balance, no monthly service charge and no charge per check. You do have to buy your own checks but if you’re 50 or over, you can join the free Golden E Club and get two free boxes of checks each year. Plus, it pays a little dividend. Now that’s a good deal!
Maybe we should advertise it like other financial institutions do. Then we should also probably advertise our Free parking, Free notary service, Free direct deposit, Free audio response service, Free CU@Home home banking service, Free BillPay, Free debit card, and Free ATM transactions. And that’s just the free stuff. What about all the other services that have low fees?
It’s hard to tell people about all of the benefits of Earthmover membership. It’s easier if they just come in and see for themselves. If you know anyone who could use a good deal on their financial services, send them in. They may thank you for it.
