State Quarters

Ten years ago the U.S. Mint began circulating the commemorative state quarter series. Each year 5 specially minted state quarters have been issued in order of their statehood -- starting with Delaware (1787) and ending with Hawaii (1959).
Our 1st Community location sells State Quarter Collection sets. Each set contains two shiny, new, un-circulated quarters, one each from the Denver (D) and Philadelphia (P) mints. The quarters come in a colorful folder that contains the unique history and culture of the state through stories, fast facts, and state trivia. 48 of the 50 State Quarter Collection sets have been released and are available for a limited time at our 1st Community office. Collector boxes which will hold all 50 State Quarter Collections are also available while supplies last.
