Fill it out and return it with your registration fee by mail to Decatur Earthmover Credit Union, Attn Christmas Parade, PO Box 2515, Decatur, IL 62525.
Registrations are due by Wednesday, November 19th.
Entry Fee
$25 for all parade entries. Checks should be made payable to Earthmover. All proceeds will go to Freedom Reins.
$500 Cash Prize for the Best Float
Float judging will begin promptly at 3:30pm in the staging area.
Parade Route
The parade will begin on Franklin and Macon Streets and head north. We'll turn west on North Street, then head south on Main Street, ending at Main and Macon Streets.
Entry to the parade staging area will now be E. Cleveland Ave (turn left after Waite's Dry Cleaning). This helps to keep the flow of traffic and makes sure there are no issues with staging.
LIGHTS!
The goal of your unit should be to entertain kids with the spirit of Christmas. With that said, music is great! But lights are better, so we require your unit to have at least 150 Christmas lights. In addition, we will make sure Santa makes it, so please refrain from using any other Santa in your unit.
