2025 Freedom Reins

Freedom Reins' Mission:

Founded in 2020 by Jennifer Camp and hosted at her facility (River Ranch), Freedom Reins aims to give individuals of all abilities, but especially those with disabilities freedom through horses.

We have served hundreds of families in Central Illinois in their efforts to provide a unique opportunity to heal their mind and bodies through the power of horses. Our goal is to create the opportunity for children and adults alike to slow down and nurture the relationship between horse and human.

Our program runs in quarters. As of this writing (summer 2024) we serve between 25 and 35 families each quarter. As the horse availability grows, the number of students we enroll can increase as well.

Horses help our students of all ages with the majority of students being children with physical or developmental disabilities, including, but not limited to cerebral palsy, autism, PANDAS, ADD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, ODD, sensory processing disorder, downs syndrome, juvenile arthritis, and childhood trauma.
