I started at DECU 24 years ago as a part-time teller. I quickly went full time and soon after was promoted to Branch Administrative Assistant at our Southeast location. Once the contact center opened I was selected with just 4 others to be part of the new contact center as a phone agent. After a couple of years as a Contact Center lender, I moved into the role of CC supervisor then to Branch Manager. I then held the title of Sr. Director of Branch Operations and Sales, a fancy title to say all the traditional branches and frontline mentor(s) report to me. After a while I shifted into a new role as Senior Director of Real Estate.

Currently I am the Member Experience Enthusiast, which is a new role here at DECU. I am excited to be face-to-face with members!

The road has not always been smooth and has not been an overnight achievement, but with commitment to my own success and dedication to our membership I have an amazing career. The best take-a-way for anyone looking to build a career at DECU is to remember “you interview every day”.
